My Process
- Initial Consultation: Our journey begins with a detailed discussion of your concerns and goals. This initial consultation is crucial for understanding your immediate needs and setting the stage for a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
- Setting Treatment Goals: Together, we identify clear and achievable goals for your therapy. This collaborative goal-setting process ensures that the treatment plan aligns with your unique objectives and desired outcomes.
- Addressing Immediate Needs: We prioritize and address any urgent issues or distressing symptoms you may be experiencing. This might include strategies for managing anxiety, reducing trauma symptoms, or alleviating depression, ensuring that your immediate well-being is supported.
- Deeper Exploration: Once immediate needs are managed, we delve deeper into underlying issues such as family dynamics, cultural influences, and historical traumas. This comprehensive approach helps uncover the root causes of your emotional distress, enabling long-term healing and growth.
- Ongoing Support: Throughout our sessions, you will experience a supportive and empowering environment. Clients often report feeling more understood, validated, and equipped with practical tools to navigate their challenges.
The Necessity of Integration:
Integrating personalized care into therapy is necessary for several reasons:
- Holistic Understanding: It allows for a holistic understanding of each client’s unique situation, leading to more effective and relevant interventions.
- Cultural Sensitivity: It fosters cultural sensitivity, ensuring that therapy respects and incorporates the client’s cultural and social context.
- Enhanced Engagement: It enhances client engagement and motivation by making therapy more relatable and meaningful.
- Long-Term Impact: It promotes lasting change by addressing both immediate symptoms and deeper underlying issues.
How You Will Feel After Sessions:

Learn More about various Therapies we use
WHAT IS CBT
CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a widely used form of psychotherapy that focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress and unhealthy behaviors
WHAT IS EMDR
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a specialized therapy approach used to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. It involves focusing on distressing memories while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, taps, or sounds.
WHY MEDITATION
Meditation improves mental health by reducing stress, promoting relaxation, and enhancing well-being. It reduces anxiety and depression, improves emotional regulation, and increases resilience to stress. By cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness, meditation fosters inner peace and a balanced state of mind.
DBT SKILLS
DBT skills, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, are used to help individuals effectively manage their emotions, improve relationships, and cope with distressing situations. These skills focus on four key areas: mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
INNER CHILD WORK
Inner child work is a therapeutic approach that involves reconnecting with and healing the wounded inner child within us. It recognizes that unresolved childhood experiences and emotions can continue to impact our lives as adults.
BACK TO NATURE
Spending time in nature has been found to have numerous benefits for individuals, including reducing stress, improving mood, increasing relaxation, and enhancing overall psychological well-being. The sights, sounds, and smells of nature can have a soothing effect on the mind and body. Being in nature helps to reduce anxiety and rumination, allowing for a greater sense of calm and clarity.
